Managing & Updating Sight

Remote Management

Sight can be managed from Sync Portal, Sync app, or Local Network Access. Sight is not updated directly. To update Sight, first update CollabOS on the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini to which Sight is connected, then the update will be pushed automatically from the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini to Sight.

You may initiate the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini update from CollabOS Settings, Local Network Access (LNA), Sync App, Sync Portal or a video conferencing app management portal (e.g. Microsoft TAC or Zoom admin portal).  To learn more, please see the CollabOS Guide section 1.5 How to Update CollabOS Devices.

Note: A Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini using CollabOS 1.15 will not update the second Sight device in a dual Sight daisy-chain deployment.  Temporarily swap the Sight connections to directly connect the second Sight device to the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini to upgrade the second Sight device.  This limitation will be removed in a future CollabOS update.

Resetting Sight

Rebooting

Sight can be rebooted (power cycled) by pressing and holding the device reset button (F in the image below) for 10 seconds until a beep is heard.

Factory Reset

Sight can be factory reset by pressing and holding for 10 seconds both the device reset button (F) and one of the microphone mute buttons (D). After performing the reset steps Sight will sit idle for about 5 minutes before cycling its LED lights. Once the LED lights have completed cycling a solid color LED will appear indicating that your Sight is ready to be set up again.
