  • Introducing RightSight 2 camera modes with Google Meet on ChromeOS

    • With ChromeOS release M138-16295.54.32, admins can now use any of the three RightSight 2 camera modes (Speaker View, Group View, and Grid View) as the manufacturing framing mode in Google Meet.

BUG FIXES

    • Fixed an issue that caused camera images to become overexposed when the camera shutter is repeatedly opened/closed, or room lighting was repeatedly turned off/on.

    • Fixed an issue that caused camera image flickers or pulses in certain lighting conditions, especially in rooms that use fluorescent lights with ballasts operating at a low frequency.

    • Fixed an issue with LLDP advertisement time-to-live (TTL) interval that led to CollabOS devices appearing to ā€œflapā€ frequently in network switch logs.

  • Google Meet on ChromeOS

    • Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the device to unexpectedly disable RightSight camera modes during a meeting.
