How do I factory reset my device?
This guide covers the factory reset process for a wide range of CollabOS devices.
Important: Performing a factory reset of your device will reset all of the settings on your device including the username and password used to access it via Local Network Access (LNA). It will also sever the connection See the section at the end of the article titled âRe-configure Local Network Accessâ for more information on reconfiguring LNA.
On Device
Rally Bar / Rally Bar Mini / Rally Bar Huddle
Turn OFF the device by unplugging the power supply cable OR pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
Press and hold the Reset button. The Reset button is the button third from the right. It is an oblong shaped button with the â» symbol below it.
Without releasing the Reset button, reconnect the power supply OR press the power button.
The device will go through another power cycle when it powers on and show a circle image as it is erasing data. (approximately 20 seconds).
Release the reset button after approximately 20 seconds. When the device turns on again, it will be at the standard out-of-box screen and reset to factory settings.
RoommateÂ

Ensure your Tap IP or Tap Scheduler is powered on
Press and hold (A) Pinhole Button for 5 seconds

Tap / Tap IP / Tap Scheduler
For Tap IP, you can choose to reset either the Tap IP or the paired host device.
For Tap Scheduler, a reset using this process will reset Tap Scheduler.
For Tap with Cat5e kit, a reset using this process will reset the host CollabOS device.
Navigate to the CollabOS settings menu
Select your device at the top (Tap IP only)
Select AboutÂ
On the About page select Factory Reset
After either method of Factory Reset, the device will go through another power cycle when it powers on and show a circle image on the display as it is erasing data.
Re-configure Local Network Access (LNA)
If youâve accessed Settings your Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or Rally Bar Huddle through Local Network Access (LNA), then a factory reset has also reset the username and password for your device along with all the other settings youâve configured previously. You will need to reconfigure all of these settings again.
