Announcing Logitech Spot!

We're excited to announce our Logitech Spot, a workplace presence and environmental sensor that's simple to deploy and integrated into the Logitech ecosystem.

Logitech Spot allows admins to detect presence for usage insights and workplace automation, and to measure environmental data to ensure that rooms are healthy and efficient.

All of the management for Logitech Spot is done from within your Sync portal, making it simple to manage your devices, updates, insights, and features in one place. Logitech also offers the Sync Cloud API which allows you to integrate this data with other external systems.

To help existing Airica users transition to the new Logitech Spot experience, we are providing a special offer outlined below:

What do you need to get started?

1) Logitech Sync account

Sync is the management portal that Logitech Room Booking utilizes to manage hardware, software, and policies. This will replace what you have with Meetio Admin today and will also let you set up admin users in your organization who can manage and maintain the Logitech room booking solution. You are already on your way if you already have a Sync account. If you do not have a Sync account, refer to our article on creating a Sync account.

2) Logitech CollabOS device or LoRaWAN Gateway

Logitech Spot can connect and send data to Sync via two methods.

1. A Logitech provided LoRaWAN gateway. Allowing for many Spots to connect and send data to Sync. Learn more

2. A Logitech CollabOS device. If you have existing Logitech hardware like a Tap Scheduler, Rally Bar and others (see a list of CollabOS device here), Spot will connect to these devices via Bluetooth and share data with Logitech Sync. Learn more

3) Logitech Spots

Spot can be purchased through a Logitech reseller, and for existing Airica customers we have special offer. To learn more, first contact Logitech using the contact email below.

4) Essential room licenses

After creating a Sync account you will have the option to enabled a free Logitech Essential license trial. This will give you full access to Sync and Spot features. There is a special discount offer for existing Airica customers, to learn more please use the contact email below.

5) Complete your Spot set up

Once you have completed the above steps, you are ready to complete your Spot set up. We recommend following our guide "Getting Started with Spot".
